This policy explains what Severance stores when you link a Roblox account to Discord.

Who operates Severance

Severance is operated by Serverance.

Information stored

When you complete account linking, Severance stores your Discord user ID, Roblox user ID, Roblox username, and the date and time you linked the accounts. A temporary one-time OAuth state and verifier are used to complete linking; they expire after 10 minutes. Severance does not receive or store your Roblox password, and it does not save OAuth tokens.

How the information is used

The account details are used to associate your Roblox and Discord accounts for Severance features. They are stored in the bot operator’s SQLite database and are available to the people who maintain the bot. We do not sell the account-link information or use it for advertising.

Other services

Roblox handles sign-in and returns your approved profile information to Severance. Discord handles your Discord account and interactions under its own policies. Hosting and network providers may process basic connection information when serving the site and OAuth callback.

Retention and deletion

Your account link is kept until you ask the Severance operators to remove it or link a different Roblox account. A new link replaces the previous Roblox account for that Discord account. To request a copy, correction, or deletion of your information, contact us below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights or the right to contact your local privacy regulator.
